Conor McGregor has been looking back on one of his famous wins.
On Thursday, the former dual-weight UFC champion shared footage from his first-round knockout win over Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone, which came at UFC 246 on January 18, 2020.

It shows him brutalising the MMA legend with rarely-seen shoulder strikes before dropping him with a head kick and closing the show with ground and pound.
“Enjoy,” he captioned the footage that was originally posted by a fan, who also shared several shocking stats from McGregor’s memorable comeback victory.
According to the original uploader, ‘Notorious’ landed every significant strike he threw, and didn’t absorb a single blow during his devastating 40-second display against the UFC Hall of Famer.
Four years on, McGregor hasn’t tasted victory inside the Octagon since then.
The 35-year-old was brutally knocked out by Dustin Poirier in his next fight before suffering a broken leg when they rematched at UFC 264 in July 2021.
‘Mystic Mac’ underwent a gruelling recovery process, but he’s been fully fit for the past year, and imploring the UFC to give him an official comeback date.
However, for various reasons, that hasn’t happened yet. Even though he has been booked to face lightweight contender Michael Chandler since February 2023.
McGregor recently announced his return bout will take place at UFC 302 on June 29, and shocked the world by claiming he will fight Chandler at middleweight.

UFC CEO Dana White hasn’t confirmed if McGregor’s announcement is true.
In fact, he recently revealed that although McGregor’s return is pencilled in for 2024, his opponent, fight date and weight class have not been confirmed at this time.
“So, McGregor will be back this year,” White told Sportsnet.
“Possibly, him and Chandler.
“We’ll see how this whole thing plays out.”
