Jake Paul and Mike Tyson will come to blows this summer in arguably one of the biggest fights of the year.

Social media sensation Paul has been teasing a fight against ‘Iron Mike’ ever since ditching his internet fame to try and win a world title in boxing. The mega-fight won’t put Paul any closer to his end goal but it will undoubtedly be a huge event. Tyson will be 58 by the time he steps foot in the ring as there is a massive 30-year age gap between him and Paul.

Tyson retired from professional competition almost two decades ago but returned for a one-off exhibition fight against fellow legend Roy Jones Jr. in November 2020. When is Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson and when will it start in the UK?

Paul will fight Tyson on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at the 80,000-seat capacity AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, which is home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys. No fight time has been set yet but it will likely begin at around 5am on Sunday morning in the UK, which will be around 9pm Saturday night local time.

What are the fight rules?

An official ruleset is yet to be announced for the fight, but Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions business partner Nakisa Bidarian has insisted that headgear will not be worn by Paul or Tyson. Talls are underway for Paul vs Tyson to be officially sanctioned professional fight, but the Texas Commission will have the final say on the matter.

No information has yet been offered regarding the co-main event or the undercard for the event. Paul could use the fight card to platform his small collection of Most Valuable Promotions stars, or the event could feature other crossover fights involving boxers and MMA fighters.
