Roger Federer ended his 24-year professional career by announcing he was retiring his racket last night (September 15). Let’s look back at FedEx’s glorious moments.
Federer won the Wimbledon junior tournament in 1998, this was Federer’s first major title, marking a transformation milestone for the young Swiss tennis player.
Federer won the 2003 Wimbledon championship trophy after defeating Mark Philippoussis (seated). This is the Swiss tennis player’s first Grand Slam title, starting his streak of five consecutive titles at the grass-court Grand Slam tournament.

Robin Soderling did a very difficult job at Roland Garros by defeating Rafael Nadal, and Federer defeated Soderling to win the 2009 clay court Grand Slam, completing his possession of all four Grand Slam titles. This is also Federer’s only Grand Slam title on clay.
At the ATP Finals in the period 2003-2011, Federer was an unrivaled giant, winning six championship titles (2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2010, 2011).
Federer reached the milestone of 1,000 career victories by defeating Milos Raonic in the tournament final in Brisbane, Australia in early 2015.
