O’Sullivan is widely praised as the greatest and most successful player in billiards history with 7 world championships and a flamboyant playing style. Billiards legend Jimmy White believes that O’Sullivan’s peak can be compared to Roger Federer’s in tennis.

White said: “Make no mistake, O’Sullivan’s muscle lines are magical! It’s like the tennis style of Roger Federer and people like that. But O’Sullivan is a perfectionist and he could tell he was playing very badly.”

O’Sullivan is an avid tennis fan, but his favorite player is Novak Djokovic, one of Federer’s biggest rivals when the Swiss legend was still playing.

The 7-time world champion said: “Federer, Nadal, Djokovic. I always enjoy watching them play. They are the three best tennis players of all time. For me, Djokovic will be the king of them all. It doesn’t matter if you’re a soccer player, golfer, or hockey player, everyone looks at Djokovic.

I wish I could do what Djokovic did in tennis. The life of a professional tennis player is difficult. But when they are at the top… the venues they play in are impressive.”

The “one-on-one” format of tennis is in some ways comparable to billiards. That may be why O’Sullivan admires Djokovic so much, the male tennis player who owns the most Grand Slam titles in history with 24 titles.

As for O’Sullivan, he has created a buzz with his new documentary “The Edge of Everything” in recent days.
