Eminem and Royce Rehearsal Video Fuels “Caterpillar” Performance Rumors

While a new Bad Meets Evil album remains a possibility, Royce da 5’9 seems focused on his upcoming project with DJ Premier, PRhyme 3. Both artists have been teasing the album, hinting at its impressive quality.

DJ Premier previously spoke about choosing different producers for each PRhyme project, keeping things fresh. He remained secretive about the instrumentals for PRhyme 3, simply stating it will be a “doozy.”

“For PRhyme 2, we were going to use Adrian again, but we didn’t have enough catalogue to take it where I wanted to take it. So, I was like, maybe we should just change it and make it a different person every time. That makes it even more special. Antman Wonder was the next one that Mike was dealing with, and we got with him for PRhyme 2. PRhyme 3 is a doozy. That’s all I can say. That one we are not going to announce until it’s done. But you are definitely going to be like, ‘Oh, shit, okay!'”

Royce expressed his admiration for DJ Premier’s continued dedication and inspiration, admitting he hasn’t started rapping on the beats yet:

“Preem beats that I have not got the chance to get to yet. Preem is so super focused. I can only dream to be that inspired at his age, where he is at it right now, how long he has been around, all the things he has accomplished and how motivated he continues to just be. That’s definitely inspiring.”

New Bad Meets Evil On Hold for Now

In an interview, Royce addressed the possibility of a new Bad Meets Evil album with Eminem. While not confirming anything, he acknowledged it “could happen” but emphasized there’s “more rap music that exists” currently.

This suggests fans might have to wait for their Bad Meets Evil fix as Royce prioritizes PRhyme 3.
