Tennis titan Roger Federer, fresh off announcing San Francisco as the host city for his Laver Cup brainchild, might be trading his racquet for a paddle! During a recent interview, Federer dished on the booming popularity of pickleball in the US, admitting, “I might have to start playing it, who knows?”

While Federer confessed he’s never played pickleball (believe it or not!), he’s dabbled in padel, another racquet sport popular in Europe. But the rapid growth of pickleball, especially amongst his fellow tennis stars, has piqued his interest.
