Lucas described the process of reaching Eminem as akin to trying to get through to the president. He stated that calls are routed through assistants and impersonal prompts, highlighting Eminem’s extreme measures to maintain privacy.

This experience led Lucas to understand why Eminem behaves so cautiously. He recounted a conversation with Royce da 5’9 on the set of “Lucky You” where Royce explained Eminem’s guarded nature as a result of past experiences. Lucas expressed initial confusion but came to empathize with Eminem’s need for seclusion after facing similar pressures in his own career.

Lucas acknowledged Eminem’s enduring fame, stating that his massive celebrity status makes it impossible for him to live a normal life. He contrasted this with Jay-Z, who Lucas believes can still maintain a more personal connection with others.

The interview also touched on comparisons between Lucas and other top rappers. Lucas referenced Eminem’s consistent recognition of him alongside Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, and Drake. He expressed pride in being acknowledged by Eminem, whom he considers one of the greatest rappers ever.
