Rapper Lil Wayne was charged in federal court with illegal possession of weapons and ammunition, facing a sentence of up to 10 years in prison.

According to NPR, on November 17, the Florida court decided to prosecute the male singer. Late last year, Lil Wayne was discovered carrying a gun when his private plane landed at an airport in Miami.
