For you tennis fans out there, you know who Roger Federer is. We all know him as the greatest tennis player in history, but here are some facts that make us love him even more.

1. At the age of 17, he became a professional tennis player.

2. He represents Switzerland – home of the best chocolate in the world.

3. He speaks four languages fluently: Swiss German, German, English and French.

4. He is a dad of four, twin girls and twin boys.

5. He is the first male to hold 17 Grand Slam titles, beating Pete Sampras’ 14 Grand Slams.

6. At the age of 23, he won his first Grand Slam at Wimbledon in 2003.

7. In 2003, he established the Roger Federer Foundation to help disadvantaged kids and promote their access to education and sports.

8. He can rock a pink shirt.

9. He’s still rocking the tennis world after retirement.

10. He has a slick one-handed backhand.

11. In 2005, to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina, he auctioned off his tennis racket from that year’s US Open Championship.
