West Coast legends Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre are shaking things up with a country-fried remix of their iconic track “Gin & Juice.” To pull it off, they recruited rising country star Hardy, who just dropped the reimagined song on Friday.

Hardy couldn’t believe his ears when he got the call to collaborate. “I’m still in disbelief,” he admits to Complex magazine, “but so stoked” to have Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg’s blessing on this unique project.

This country twist on “Gin & Juice” isn’t just for show. It’s part of the promotion for Snoop and Dre’s upcoming line of pre-made Gin & Juice drinks. Back in February, they teased the new product with a cinematic trailer channeling Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield from Pulp Fiction.

While the song gets a country makeover, the drink itself will stick to its roots. Based on social media teasers, fans can expect four fruity flavors: Apricot, Citrus, Melon, and Passionfruit.

This isn’t the only project cooking for the hip-hop veterans. They’re also working on a new studio album together titled “Missionary.” Snoop recently dished on the recording process with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson on the All the Smoke podcast.

Apparently, Dre’s a perfectionist, and Snoop loves the challenge. “He uses me like a f**king robot,” Snoop laughs, “and I love it because I love to be produced.” He describes the new material as “masterful” and praises Dre for using his voice “like an instrument.”

With a country remix, a new album on the way, and hints at future products, it seems Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre are showing no signs of slowing down.
