ICE CUBE NAMES EMINEM AND LIL WAYNE FOR HIS TEAM FOR A RAP BATTLE.
Ice Cube recently connected with The Guardian for a new interview, where the LA Legend discussed various topics including NWA, “No Vaseline” diss track, Boyz N the Hood, racial injustice and more.

During the conversation, he was asked If he had to choose two rappers to join his team in a rap battle, who would they be and why. “Eminem is one of the best rappers that’s ever blessed the mic, and I feel the same way about Lil Wayne,” he said. “I wouldn’t mind going into battle with those two.”

The rapper also discussed his solo albums post-NWA. “I know it’s a cliche, but I did ’em, I put ’em out, so I’m proud of all of them,” he said. “They’re all somewhat time capsules of the era and how me and my community was feeling about certain things. When you hang a picture on the wall, and you an artist, you don’t care what people think when they walk past ’cause you’re gone, and you’re doing your next piece.”

“Natural Born Killaz by Dr Dre,” he said on his favorite beat. “It’s just everything I love in a beat: it’s dynamic, it’s thick, it’s terrifying. It fitted my style like a glove. When I first heard it, I just went crazy. He said: “You wanna be on this?” I never wanted to rap on something so bad.”

Previously, one of the greatest rap battlers Cassidy stated that Eminem has to face him to claim the best battle rapper title, before showing desire to work with him. “If somebody wants to claim the title, like Eminem or somebody who would have to come back and get actually in the lane, they are out to claim that they are biggest battle rapper because, as at this point right now, it’s me.” he said.

He continued, “Nah, I’m a fan of Eminem. I wanna work with him. I ain’t really trying to battle him but I battle anybody. I battled myself before so I battle anyone.”
